Whitney has 20 years of experience in planning, deploying, securing, maintaining, and managing IT and Communications resources. He has been with Purple Strategies since its inception and is responsible for the IT and Communications landscape.

Whitney’s early career began in 1993 while attending James Madison University. He was part of a team tasked with executing an IT Initiative to network the entire campus of James Madison University. While at JMU, Whitney managed IT resources for several different departments, the last of which was as IT Manager for the College of Science and Math.

Whitney’s past experience includes providing IT and Communications consulting services to organizations throughout the D.C. Metropolitan area, including several divisions of the Pew Charitable Trusts, members of the U.S. Senate and House, DC Public Schools, Henrico County Schools, AMTRAK, Congressional Budget Office and COX Media Group.
