Van Tate

A software architect with over 15 year of experience, Van leads Purple Strategies’ website development team.  Tate’s background in network protection led him to become the software security manager for an online global remittance company. Tate then served as a Vice President of Technology for a Fortune 100 bank.

At Purple Strategies, Tate defines all application framework and design methodology. He oversees and enforces the integrity of the software development life cycle for client projects. Tate is a “hands-on” engineer, preferring to be involved from the initial requirements phase through delivery of the final product. He ensures software deliverables that meet high standards for security, scalability, and quality.
