
Richard Keil
Drawing on extensive journalistic and corporate advisory experience, Richard provides strategic and crisis communication counsel to corporations, trade associations, foreign governments, individuals and non-profits.
Keil spent two decades in Washington journalism, including serving as White House correspondent and political correspondent for Bloomberg News from 1999 until 2006. In that capacity, he covered the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections, and served as a frequent guest on PBS’ “Washington Week In Review,” “The Charlie Rose Show,” as well as appearing on various network and cable television political programs.
While at Bloomberg, Keil also covered the U.S. Senate, congressional lobbying, and the 1997 global tobacco settlement, in addition to helping implement Bloomberg’s expanded White House and political coverage. Keil joined Bloomberg after a decade as a reporter covering national and local stories for The Associated Press in Washington.
